Tasting Notes

Complex and structured, this vibrant Rosé opens with aromas of ripe stone fruit, red berries and subtle floral notes. Dry and finely textured, the palate is lifted by bright acidity, a mineral thread and a spicy, mouth-watering finish. The fruit is grown across carefully selected blocks of The Landing’s vineyard.

    Viticulture

Selected parcels are designated for Rosé production and managed separately to capture fresh, vibrant flavours at moderate sugar levels. Leaf cover is maintained to minimise colour development, while careful yield management ensures balance and flavour concentration. Fruit is typically harvested around two weeks earlier than the same varieties destined for red wine production.

    Winemaking

The fruit was hand-picked and meticulously sorted before whole-bunch pressing. Only free-run juice was used, with fermentation taking place in a combination of stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and seasoned puncheons to enhance texture. The wine was then aged on light lees for three months before our finest Rosé parcels were blended to achieve length, balance and complexity.

  • Vintage Notes

Vintage 2026 was characterised by warm growing conditions and several significant rainfall events. Spring weather was generally favourable, with successful flowering and fruit set, although bunch numbers were lower in some varieties. Rainfall during January presented challenges, but the vineyard showed strong resilience, producing fruit with excellent flavour concentration and varietal character.
